I am looking to replace the windows on my colvic northener without spending a fortune.
In my mistaken wisdom I purchased 6 new 6mm acrylic windows and also some rubber surrounds to fit them in to.
windows are fine but the rubber is a disaster.
basically it has a twist in it and it refuses to fit into the cut out in the hull.I rang the company who supplied it and was told to try putting it in very hot water before fitting.no change ...still unworkable!
My reason for post is to ask if anyone knows of a company that could put the acrylic windows that were expensive into aluminium frames for easier fitting.

Hi .... Not sure if this helpful ... without knowing the extent of the twist ... Could you try a heat gun on a low setting and fit slowly around the cut out..
I had success with this method installing a new rubber insert in a rub rail.
I tried the hot water method but it would cool after a couple of inches in fitting.
