Hi Pete - Have you thought about getting the pump re conned with new seals ? could also get another pump so that the engine hatch and the trim tabs are stand alone

Hi Jon, I'm not aware that they're serviceable? Have you got any details?

I believe some people convert the hatch ram to electric. That's an option but i'd rather keep it OEM I think.

OEM is the best way.
Any decent Hydraulic fitter should be able to do a pump - I will have a search about for you.

just putting this out there as possible's before stripping a motor/pump down.
Screenshots below from google on bennet trim tab motor - which the simple culprit is fluid level - expanding on that could the hydraulic fluid in your system require changing out if it has never been done ie low viscosity ?
