Sadly our port side, side window has shattered on our Crownline 180 bowrider. Can anyone advice a company in the Poole area that is able to replace for us.
Ideally in glass, but someone has suggested using perspex.

Any advice or suggestions welcome.

As usual, a limited budget!!

Cheers masonni

I have been through this on a Bayliner. This was my experience.
If it is curved as mine was the only option is to go to the manufacturer of the boat or windscreen, a lot of american manufactureres use Taylor Made but you'd have to check. So try importer dealer first then track the manufacturer.
Taylor Made who do the Bayliner screens refused to ship the glass on ots own so I had to buy a half windshield assembly which I eventually got through my local Bayliner dealer as my insurance covered the event........the bill was £2700 fitted!!!!!!
To have the screen supplied by Taylor made would still have been just under £2000!
If it had not been covered by insurance or the screen was unavailable due to age of the boat I would have used Makrolon or similar as I did in any case as a temporary measure. Cost me about £60 for a suitable piece and it bent to shape OK and frankly did the job fine, it certainly wasn't obvious that it wasn't glass, and wasn't too hard to fit.

If the screen is flat then just go to your local glass supplier who will cut you a piece. Make sure it is the right type (toughened I think!!). I had to do that on a Sea Ray I had!
