Yes
Because of cylinder manufacturing demands due to the pandemic there is a shortage of cylinders.
I have already waited two months and am now 21st on a list which means I’m likely to get one in one to two months time.
Sea-Fire Europe (based in the UK) have been helpful and are keeping their agent Point-Fire in Barcelona well informed who in turn are communicating with me.
I spoke with Haley of Sea-Fire Europe today who assured me that it‘s just a case of waiting but I’m well on the list.
I have the old style ‘gas‘ which is why I need a new cylinder. If you are on the latest ‘gas’ then maybe you just need a refill.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the info David, i have been told if the cylinder can't be changed like for like then a whole new system is required as the old style indicator system is not compatible with the new style bottle valves and as we have a dual system its a bit more complicated ?‍♂️

……that’s true for me. Just one cylinder for 7cu M volume fitted in Spain is £2000 (Sealine S37)
