Replacement propeller providers please

Hi all, trying to source a reasonably priced replacement prop for VP SX-A, currently have a 4 blade aluminium 14.25x19 RH, trying to source same or 3 blade stainless steel without going to Volvo as there very expensive. Any leads greatly appreciated

Won’t get any better than a good mercury stainless prop, off the shelf. You just ask for a hub kit to suit your sx.
Also their Alu props, very good in comparison with others.

Note that at least 90% of a prop's performance comes from design, the rest is from the material.
If you have any specific issues with the existing prop, first check alu options.

In case of hitting something (rocks...) an alu prop will give, stainless are much tougher and will send more stress into the drive/gears.

I’d maybe say the sacrificial hubs in stainless props these days, means the worry isn’t as it used to be. Back in the days of hard splined props. Think those days of stainless props damaging gearboxes are all bit gone, mostly.
