Hello, i have a 44 bavaria sailboat and i was having problems with my batteries charging. My systems has 1 alternator, 1 isolator, 2 gel batteries 140ah each for service and 1 engine classic battery 100ah. The problem is that alternator's regulator can monitorise one battery either service or engine and so the charging of the batteries isn't the appropriate one. Two times i faced the problem of overcharging the engine battery while alternator regulator was on service battery.
During my research i found this product: https://sterling-power.com/collecti...ator-to-battery-chargers-up-to-130a-clearance which seams to be perfect but 1st the company site says it is "sold out" and 2nd there is not an official resseler in Greece. Do you know if there is another company for such products or another way to have an isolated 2 battery system with smart charging of each bank according to the batt type (gel, acid etc)
