the wendy house has a 1 inch slit in the liddle of a window - must have caught on some sharp part of the frame. How to repair it is the question since the window is only 5 years old and as new otherwise.

Thanks Seashoreman. But what sort of plastic are windows made from anyway? surely there must be something better athan a sticky tape

I had three slits in the spray hood Windows earlier this year, don't ask! I used Gorilla tape clear, which so far has been excellent but it was only applied in early July so early days.

Clear Mylar tape works well for a few years. It often surprises me how well it sticks ..
We occasionally have trouble finding it when asked to replace Windows.

Surely just take it to a loft and have them insert a new window. It shouldnt be very costly.

The material is easily available from any sailmakers supplies (I use Hawke House) but you may need something like a Sailrite for a self repair depending on how thick the canvass is. Its a simple job.

Canopy window material is pvc
If you can take it to a canopy or sail maker I imagine a new window would be about £30 .
