Have a small leak in this collar area on the inflatable floor. Right on the edge - any tips on how to do a good job on this area?

Pics attached.

Thanks

Stormsure glue.

We had a leak in the same spot on our tender last year - I managed to stop it nicely using storm sure glue - if you do a decent sized dod of glue, it's strong enough not to need a patch.

The trouble is getting the fabric flat enough to affect repair with our the glue running. It is remarkably tenacious stuff.

I cannot quite see if it would work from your picture…. But I repair any holes in my dinghy with superglue and bicycle inner tube (using two or three increasing sized patches); repairs have lasted 3 years so far.

I repair these boats frequently. That's a bit of a tricky area to repair. I would first get hold of some proper two-part PVC adhesive and some MEK solvent. Thoroughly clean the area with the MEK. Next, cut a strip of PVC big enough to cover. When applying the patch you will probably need a heat gun to make the material more workable. When satisfied it's in the correct position apply clamps/weight overnight.

'tis what I had to do. The patch was a long, thin-ish rectangle, glued on so that the short side of the rectangle is "tangential" to the circumference of the hole.

Great, do you do this professionally? By the time I have got the gear it could be cheaper to pay a pro.
