Does anybody know of a repair service for these units. My buttton is stuck in.I know about the Tfx units but am trying to save myself from having to change cables as well.Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Got any pictures as I have an old single lever control

Might just be stuck with corrosion when the button is located.

Try soaking it in vinegar/acid to remove the corrosion

If it’s like the image (ignore the white fairing) then it is easy to fix. The button just moves the lever in or out, disengaging it from the cable that engages the gearbox, not shown. As mentioned before it usually just needs to be freed. The whole assembly unscrews into the various components so easy for any mechanic to fix i.e. no need for a specific company. Ask whomever services or repairs your engine.

Before that, try Plus Gas which is an anti seize spray, or liquid in a can. Soak from the outside. Leave for an hour, resoaking if it looks to be drying up. Try and pull, push the button from time to time. If it moves a bit, soak again and repeat. If it frees up, lubricate with 3:1 oil or similar.

I have had similar problems and they do free up. Treat with light oil from time to time as a preventative measure. If that does work, set to with small spanners, pliers and dismantle.

Both my Sr25 and Conq38 - the buttons need persuading every so often.

Plus Gas or dreaded WD40 to get them to move ... then 3in1 oil to keep them free.

The Conq38 is the standard Yanmar lever with button in centre of lever hub .. real pain !!

Having got one of these, I think I would replace that....

They are very reliable if maintained. The picture is one of three I have for spares, all work very smoothly and positively and clean up well. A good replacement is the Lewmar throttle, very good and positive, but very expensive. However mine is recessed and the Lewmar will not fit in.
