Repainting over a 2 pack paint. HOW?

I have a 2 pack paint on top of my saloon/doghouse that really needs a birthday.

What are all the do's and don'ts to preparation, priming, temperatures, humidity etc....

Any advice on or around the subject really appreciated.

You can paint most things over 2 pack. check with some thinners of the paint you intend to use. Assumimg you can't rub it off with the thinners, just abrade for a key, de dust and paint.

The data sheet for the paint will give you the temperature and humidity rules. Its different for differernt paints. If outside you can pretty much forget painting till mid feb and even then you need to pick your day carefully.

I agree, but would add, give the area a good chemical clean before sanding or you ill only spread and contaminants, Silicon is the worst as nothing will stick to it.

Good luck and fair winds. :)

2 Pack polyurethane paint is when hard and very inert a bit like fibreglass or any other plastic. The only attachment of a new paint is by mechanical means. So need roughness and cleanliness.
Use acetone as Oldsaltoz says. Wet the rag wipe it over then for the next wipe or next area use a clean section of rag with new acetone. It is very easy to dissolve grease with acetone then have it left in the rag or on the surface when the acetone evaporates. (very quickly) good lcuk olewill
