I have some small varnish spills (International Original) on fibreglass, some of it textured.

Suggestions for a suitable chemical remover please?

I have a variety of chemicals and don't want to add to them uneccessarily.

These include
"Tradesolve" which removes impact adhesive.
Acetone
West System solvent
Carbon Tetrachloride
Isopronylol
Langlows paint stripper.

I also have a couple of light rust stains. Can I polish these out?

I have just come across a bottle of Langlow Paint stripper in the garage. Contains dichcloromethane and methanol and says it is a non caustic paint stripper. Anyone know whether this reacts with fibreglass? As stated before I don't want to add to the panoply of half used bottles of chemicals I have.

It may not react with anything, I am amazed the label is still legible. Cost £1.69 1/10/96. My father dated when he bought it as he did most things. I seem to be doing the same now.

Don't use dichloromethane, aka methylene dichloride, on grp.
Caustic soda or a caustic soda based paint stripper is safe on GRp and will remove most conventional single pack paints and varnishes

As said oxalic acid or an oxalic acid based cleaner will quickly deal with rust stains.
Citric acid will too , but more slowly.
Cillit Bank "Lime and Grime" will also remove them
