A friend did some varnish work for us in the spring, and unfortunately he was not very tidy and there are quite a lot of splashes and drips. It would be very laborious to scrape them all off, and where it is a bit smeared perhaps impossible.
I had hoped to be able to use a paint stripper product, Owatrol Safestrip, but discover that the varnish was a polyurethane type and therefore impervious to stripper.
Does anyone have any other suggestions, or is it down to scraping carefully?
TIA
