Removing plotters

Mine is fixed on the cabin aft bulkhead, outside in the cockpit so that it is visible from the helm. Like this from new.

Rather than the oem self tapping screws, it's thru-fixed with bolts using nylon nuts. Also sealed with CT1 adhesive sealant.

The plotter would probably be destroyed during any forced removal, but the scallies don't know that do they...I keep my fingers crossed.

I used to remove mine but my previous insurers told me that it wouldn’t be covered unless it was on the boat.

Probably best if people don't state what they may leave on their boats on an internet forum.

It would be far easier for someone with the desire, means and geographic proximity to break into my boat to find our than to piece together my boat details and location and plan to nick stuff with limited resale value.
