Hi,

As per pics below, I'm struggling to drop the leg on this old beast.

I've read through a few posts on here, but others appear to have been able to release the drive shaft easily, I cannot!

The water hose/pipe connected onto the water pump has come off, but I cannot seem to pull the tube with the driveshaft in it down and free.

The powerhead end has been removed, the other posts on here indicated that was necessary but I cannot free it from that end either. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do and would be grateful for any advice. Thanks.

So I've resulted in using the Clarkson whacker and have finally managed to release it!

It's fair to say that the tube which the drive shaft sits in is caked up!

I'm more concerned about the copper water pipe, not sure how I can jet that through to make sure it's clear? Might blast some carb cleaner up it, it's not easily accessible?

Now for the replacement impeller
