Why do you think you never used to see old men working in dry docks either the A/F or the Welding gases got them!
Nowadays there is no Arsenic, lead or tin in A/F but there is still Copper and Agricultural biocides.
If removing A/F by any means you must wear a good tight fitting nose/mouth mask protective glasses and gloves
ensuring all skin is covered.
I have seen numerous people hospitalised after inhaling A/F dust and having suffered myself wouldn't wish it on anyone
IYP A/F stripper can be very effective but dont use it on a cold hull
I found that a liberal coating covered with a layer of newspaper and left for the reccommended period had exellent results
