Removing a forestay from within a Plastimo 608S Foil

Any ideas??

The rigging is slightly damaged (1 strand is broken) so it needs to be replaced but it doesn't want to pull out.

Is there something I have missed??

Can't remember how my old unit was dismantled but I do remember getting a download for the installation from, I think, here

hi
you have to take off the drum and then the plastic luff tape guidse and then pull down towards the drum end ) the black sleeve that locks the stay inside the foil. once that is all out (about 5 sections) the stay will come out sideways from the foil. This black sleeve in section is like a figure 8 that has the back section split to go over the stay and is then slid up to secure the stay into the foil.
