Upon return from hol's, the professionals have painted onto the deck an off white gelcoat leaving the areas for non-slip, tramlined up with masking tape.
As of yesterday (Sun 4th sept) they had satisfactorily applied some of the foredeck with the non-slip 'secret' formula of a pale grey 'resin' with sand and seashell sprinkled on via a sieve. It looks extremely good.
Still to do this weekend coming by my son and me .... all deck fittings to go back i.e. chainplates, attachments for fore and back stays, inner forestay fitting, pushpit, pullpit, gantry, stern deck box, attach 6 hatches etc... no too much if said quickly!!!
The mast has been given a 'birthday' having had a few repairs, a few bits added and other bits taken off and that should hopefully be re-stepped after the coming weekend.
Other things like winches will be fitted as time permits.
Much more intended to be done this winter..... if only British winters weren't so Naff!
