Looking for Guidance please. Bayliner 2355 Fitted with KAD 32 onto 290 DP leg.
Sump has rusted and leaked oil, luckily found before started so no engine damage.
Being active member of local boat club had much advise but nothing consistent.
I’ve got access to hoist, but very little room in engine compartment especially near transom.
Do I remove bell housing bolts I will need to almost strip engine certainly of all ancillaries.
Or do I remove leg then bolts through transom.
If any expert could give me direction I would be most grateful.
Thanks Steve

Join the Sealine forum and then look at (How to) section. Different boat but detailed instructions on removing engine. On Sealine S25 engine had to be turned sideways as there was no room to take it straight out. It's not too difficult and can be removed and replaced in a day. I took two days as I was trying to scrape the rust off with a screwdrIver and punctured the sump, and had to clean up the sump.

I have changed sump on sealine s28 without actually removing engine from boat , pulled forward enough to lift vertical then undo bolts drop pan down .

Not sure of your enginebay size , it’s room at front you need
Is it single engine ?
