removal of skin fittings for reuse

Have had hull scraped with gel coat removed . Not sure how to remove safely plastic skin fittings such as depth transducer without damaging instrumentation . Any suggestions ??

It might be best to not try to remove the plastic depth transducer. However you should have no problems painting over it. Any other fittings should be considered as throw away if you want to remove them. olewill
