Remote control for Besenzoni passerelle

Will give it a try, black box attached. Switching to Chinese means the manual controller on the boat does not work any more, i.e only from remotes.
well that's not v.good is it?
I mean depending on the wiring of the black box, in my case the plain toggles (one for up-down, one for in-out) were wired straight to the pump (IIRC) so black box only did the wireless operation.

if the manual controls are not fancy el. ones, you can do some wiring alterations and get them all to function.

hello, i have bought a Seki Slim programmable remote control for 7 Euro via Amazon, spend 1 minute to programm it with my last original besenzoni RC and voila...works perfectly..... the remote has 6 buttons and all of them can be reprogrammed. so i use the power on to get the passerelle out of the box, channel up and down for passerelle up and down, volume up and down for passerelle extending and retracting and the av button to get the passerelle back into the box! really works well.... ordered 4 more...dont waste your money with besenzoni RC....BTW. my local Besenzoni representative told me that the bluetooth unit is rubbish... it doe s not work... waste of 600-700 euros.... they stopped selling it....

I got a couple of these from Amazon.de. only got around to trying them today. They work a treat. Thank again for the advice.

IR, did you have to program them somehow? and remind me, you DID have one remote already to "teach" the new ones, right?

Correct. I have one but it's not in great shape. The rc unit is a self learning one so just a matter of holding the 2 units close to each other and pressing a few buttons. As you'll probably remember from previous posts I'm essentially a tech numpty so if I can, anyone can.

Based on this thread, I was going to buy one of the above remotes as a backup, having just one Besenzoni OEM.
But while going online to buy it, I came across this thing, which on paper should work in the same way, but I very much like its smaller size.
And since it's cheap enough to not make me lose any sleep if it wouldn't work, I bought one.
But I'm afraid I won't be able to test it till I will be back to the boat, in about one month...

I like the size as well. Please let us know in due course if it works.

that's v.expensive Mapis, how could you do it? :-p
still have a Quick control box and no remotes hence cannot just buy any of these as I don't have a remote to "teach" the new ones :-(
30 euro for a 4 channel controller and 6 remotes from the depths of China was a decent deal though...

Ok, back at home (i.e. onboard), eventually!
And I'm happy to report that not only it took just a couple of minutes to program the remote, but it worked just fine on the first attempt.
No difference at all with the original Besenzoni thing, aside obviously from price.
And weight, actually: Besenzoni remote is heavier and does feel more solid.
But the Chinese thing does its job perfectly, and at its ridiculously low price is a no brainer.

Below is a comparison pic to give a realistic idea.
And since I found the manual online, I'm attaching it just in case anyone else might be interested...

Brilliant, great finds , thanks,......I've just ordered a couple of the Amazon one above.

We do still have working Besenzoni originals but I like the ideas of having these and programming them whilst the originals are still working, can also keep one of these on the main key ring.

Thanks.
