Remember the Yarmouth £53m drugs bust?

The Daily Mail does come in for a lot of stick on this forum but they do have a record of campaigning journalism and it does seem as if they have helped to expose a really shocking case of police corruption here. It does make you wonder quite how much 'irrefutable' technical evidence is tampered with by Plod generally
 
Yes, I saw that too - certainly a concern if there's substance to it and I suspect there is or they wouldn't have risked printing! I guess this is what happens when people are given targets - some get lazy and take shortcuts.

Agree with Mike, the DM do raise a lot of news items first - perhaps in part due to their wide local newspaper ownership? Newspapers do seem to play a role however and you can't help worry about justice when things like this come to light.
