I think the pic was taken at the French motor boat club we stopped at just before Paris. I don't remember the duck story though.

Hi Piers
I still have the huge photo you took of Picard on our way up the Medway en route to Chatham on the Thames to Calais run hanging on my wall. Things have moved on a bit since then. Graduated to a P40 then on to a Jeanneau 45 now berthed in Palma.
