Hi, I’m looking to move my princess 33 mk2 to the Medway and wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a mooring?

As she’s a fly bridge, bridge clearance may be an issue so looking to avoid any low bridges.

Ideally looking for the following:

1. Always floating
2. Easy parking
3. Nice nearby facilities - toilets, restaurants, pubs.
4. Ideally a train link near by

If anyone is on the medway and can make a suggestion it would be much appreciated

Thanks

Port Medway, right next to railway station

The only low bridge you need to worry about is this one and only if you intend going above the tidal lock at Allington.

The cheapest moorings usually require you to join a club of which there two or three that might do the job.
This usually takes time and effort.
There is one very posh marina and a couple of less posh ones , you will be paying proper marina rates.

Also a choice of boatyards who offer both tidal and half tide drying moorings.
Elmhaven at Halling
Two boatyards at Cuxton (5 min walk to station)
Medway Bridge Marina.
Strood Boat Club
Rochester Cruising Club.
Victory Moorings
MDL Chatham.
There are several more boatyards in Hoo and on the South bank of the river but all those are drying moorings.
Further afield moorings in Conyer Marina.

Worth a look.
