i have ordered the Holley copy Aeroflow Black 14 PSI 140 GPH. I reckon this will do the job perfectly, plus a Racor copy 500.

Now need to measure and work out the myriad fittings I will need to insert them into the existing system.

This is the final fuel layout, drawn using Draw.io which is a free app. These symbols were all made by me using the free shapes, so if anyone wants the base file to start from please let me know. Quite easy but sometimes a bit fiddly to use ...

The polishing system is now finished and working and no leaks ! This is the orange pipe lines shown in the diagram. I have added additional hose fitting points before the filter and after the pump to allow me to draw from or pump to other places such as drums, or to use as a hoover to suck the bottom of a tank via its access hatch.

The initial run pulled back a small amount of the black debris seen in the main filters. But after an hour's run with me swapping between tanks the amount so far has been tiny. I expect there is a layer in each tank but hopefully not too much.

My Aft tank gauge indicates the tank is empty, so if this is mis reading perhaps a pleasant surprise soon to discover an unknown qty of extra fuel aboard. This one does not have a sight glass.

I do need to tidy the wiring to the pump. Also the wire colours from the pump were reversed - the black requires the positive. I have also number tagged all 28 of the valves.
