Gentlemen and ladies I need your knowledge if I may. I am running a 17 year old Aerogen 6 via its original regulator with feeds to battery and dump resistors. The system has worked well for all those years and the actual wind generator is in excellent condition . My problem is that the regulator has failed and is a solid state affair sealed in resin which I am unable to fix.
Do any of you know of a reasonably priced 12 volt regulator that provides dumping of excess charge to dump resistors? Or have any ways of rigging such a system from a solar charge regulaor?

I have spen quite some time serching various sites and can not find a suitable regulator but I am sure they will exist or be able to be adapted from similar regulators.

Many thanks

IW395 and Graham370 tjank you for the link and comments tht looks promising.
VicS thanks for the link. It was the cost of the branded replacement ($1000NZ before shipping and tax in NZ) that got me looking for other alternatives. I can get an AIr X for only sslightly more than the cost of the aerogen regulator.
