Hi all,
Friend is selling a Regal 2250 which has a CE stamp / plate on the boat, but no paper certificate.

A (genuine) Lithuanian guy is interested, but said he requires a CE certificate for import.

The original owner is unknown, but the boat wasn't a grey import originally (so i've been told) and has a KAD32 so was likely designed for the European market.

Any idea where to start on this one? Is there a Regal dealer in UK who may be able to help?

We're in Ireland, BTW.... if that makes any difference.

Bosuns locker in port edgar marina near edinburgh sourced some hard to get parts for my regal a few years ago or Gibbs marine were Regal dealers Id start with either of those two.
Or try the regal web site they used to have an archive section which may have the ce cert for your model boat
Good luck in your search

Prosser Marine are Regal Dealers.
Important when checking a general engine manufacturers compliance publication for the particular model that the engine serial no falls within the serial numbers quoted. Sometimes the engines have been installed prior to approval cert in certain areas within the EU particularly lakes. I have come across this problem lost sale of boat to a EU citizen who thoroughly checked everything. Unlikely to be picked up but this chap was going to keep boat on Lake Constance where they are very strict. That was a Volvo D3.

THis gives you the Regal Certification contact and the Certification authority (IMCI, Belgium)

Clearly this is for a 2008 Hull year and fitted with a petrol engine. A Diesel could well be shipped as a hull and the engine fitted locally

I have erased my Hull number and scanned it in black and white (it is coloured in original)

It probably gives you the contacts/reference numbers you require to get your own

Thank you all for your replies and thank you very much mlines for your help.

I've forwarded the info to my friend and hopefully the above sample of CE Cert will be a starting point for him. I have advised him to contact Regal with the HIN, however not sure if this will sort him out fully as you mention above the hull was probably shipped from US without an engine.
