Refurb on glass border.

This is the fixed windows on the coach roof of my Beneteau. The Perspex has a white border which is starting to flake off in places. I would like to repair this. Is this paint or something else, how do I remove this border and what do I replace it with. Is it paint or a vinyl sticky on job?

It looks like the windows are effectively stuck on with a sealant (perhaps with temporary screws to hold them in place).

Any screws would have then been removed and their holes filled with sealant.

The white border is then just prevents UV from the sun getting to and deteriorating the sealant.

Sorry I can't help with paint to use but it might at least explain why it's there
