I hear a lot about Reflex heaters (or is it Refleks),where can I find one, nobody seem to keep them. And are Taylors comparable?
I've only got a small boat, so I must think compact, and Diesel fuel is obvious.
Thanks for any help. M.

Hi, I am probably too late but I have just seen your mail regarding Reflex heaters.
We have one and are very happy indeed, it has been installed for about 4 years now and has not given us any trouble. It is a super heater, no smell, easy to light and use. The only thing we regret is that we did not go for the water heating option.
If you try to use it while you are sailing it does not like heeling. They make many different sizes, the main agent in the U:K: used to be Cosalt in Gt. Yarmouth.
We used our heater on the east coast of the u.k. which was very cold, we are now in the Balearic islands but we still need it sometimes in the winter, it keeps the boat aired, dry and warm. I would not have a Taylors on board.
We live aboard our 52ft steel schooner.
