Refilling Calor bottles at a petrol station... again!

Well I barked up that tree once more and came up with a solution. It cost me 50 cents short of 100 eur though. I thought I'd post it here as it may help someone else. Firstly thanks to the provider of the thread information. It gave me the confidence to buy the adapter in it's impenetrable plastic packaging. I could just make out the info on the folded up specs inside( in the chandlers here at Les Sablons). The adaptor is made by ENO part K72094 I think. The chandlers sticker " Kit Rob. Bout. 3 kg Campgaz". Cost 39.50. A 2.75 kg bottle of Campiinggaz cost the other 60. But a refill "only costs 29". Expensive but it has cured my tea anxiety. Best of all it works and fits my gas locker unlike the bigger cheaper bottles from Carrefour. ( but that's a good tip if you have the space). Thanks to all and apologies for thread drift (21.8mm SI-LH)

Finally got WiFi in St Malo. Here I am with a nearly empty 4.5 kg calor butane bottle and no clue. Those Gaslow adaptors are just what I need but where would I find one in France. I was told in Jersey that 4.5 bottles are discontinued by the way. So all I can think of is to buy a little camping stove and lash it to my gimballed stove. This problem must have been encountered endless times. Anyone found an effective solution generally available in France? Help is needed. Thanks
We found ourselves in the same situation. Being in France long term we took out a new contract on two Butagas 'Le Cube' propane cylinders (they are actually square, plastic lined). Initial contract is around €38, which includes a regulator and a full cylinder, a refill is €18 - €20. Buck for Buck running costs are working out at a little better than our old calor propane 3.9's. They are easily available at most supermarkets and garages and so far in 12 months of living aboard we have not had a problem getting refills. The cube just filled in our gas locker which is sized for a Calor 3.9. OK for France but if you are going further south I think you will have further problems.
