I wonder how many people have spotted the deliberate mistake in the latest Reeds?

I was planning a trip to the Thames the other day and couldnt find my Tidal stream atlas, so picked up my brand spanking new Reeds to consult the East Coast tidal streams, have a look in yours as it may just be in my copy, but there are 2 different areas covered in one section.

If you mean Area 4 - E England, and the Area 4 Tidal Streams followed four pages later by Thames Estuary Tidal Streams, I think that is intentional. It was the same last year.

Sorry, it was'nt like that last year.
Last year, see pages282 and 283 The East Anglian Coast, both pages the same coast out line

Now look at 288 and 289 The Thames Estuary, both coast outlines the same.

Now look at this years offering. Page 284-285 shows the East Anglian Coast both Outline the same.

Page 290-291 page 290 the East Anglian Coast, Page 291, the Thames Estuary.

So what is happening in the Blackwater at 3hours before HW?

Paul

1. Maldon - nothing, no water for another 2 hours
2. Tollesbury - getting edgy here, another 30 minutes and they're out!
3. Bradwell - smug feeling from paying the extra to have been out for at least an hour

The thames estuary muddle up in the 2010 almanac is irritating.
I took the page out of my 2009 almanac because its standing data and the same and stuck it over the offending page. I emailed Reeds on December 30 to tell them it was wrong and gave a copy of my email to the Reeds guy at the boat show. still no answer.

Reeds

I've heard back from Reeds, they've seen the error and have fixed it.

The fix will be available for you on the website (as soon as another site glitch is repaired)

Thanks boys
