reducing windage at anchor

Well I suppose this is one way to avoid the boat being blown about at anchor ..

It was sunk in shallow water between the islands off Cannes when we were there yesterday. I put a mask on and went to have a look, and it's a bit battered, but not clear if its just negelected or maybe got caught in the strong winds they had here a few days ago, blown onto rocks and limped into shallow water.

Shame - what a waste. This boat has taken a bad beating. Your last pic shows on the stdb side, just below the surface, the planking has sprung on the bow. Must have hit summink hard.

Must have once been a good sea boat, big flared bow an' all. Quite a classically good looking craft.
