I fancy a potter out to the towers over christmas, mate coming with me, was wondering any advice etc?

Not sure how familiar you are with area but a trip round Sheppey can make a good day out.Normally would go into Swale from the west on rising tide through to Faversham,head out to forts and return back on the outside vis Sheerness.
If you have not been into Swale before stick to the bouyed channel like glue.
A quick look on Google Earth will reveal all.

Except for that barsteward bridge keeper at the Kingsferry bridge who seems to delight in keeping you waiting for no reason whatsoever.
They quite eery in the fog, like something out of War of the Worlds
