Redport Halo Wifi Extender App

Anyone else have issues with the Redport Halo app stopping working on an Android phone - it gets stuck in a cycle of 'firmware update required' and no longer works. I've tried all the usual, restart, uninstall/install, updated the firmaware on the device using my laptop, etc I've contacted Redport support - next to useless, it's been months of chasing and nothing comes back on my ticket.

I just can't get past the Halo app wanting to update firmware, can do nothing, it won't remember passwords or settings and won't list wifi connections.

Yes, I can do all that using the browser by going to the optimizer directly, but that's not the point, I should have a working Halo app.

After many months chasing this down managed to get past the awful support people to a software developer - he identified the issue and released v1.2 of the Halo App for my Android device and it is all now working as expected.
