A close relative works for HMRC and he has heard that due to misuse/misreporting the split between heating and propulsion use that the concession is now being reviewed again and is likely to be withdrawn.
Not a good start to the new season /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Well that's bleedin typical innit!! Just shows what a greedy bunch of a'holes there are about. Their selfishness spoils it all, for us, the hard working and honest majority.

Please continue to chase your close relative for further information, as and when possible.

Bit of a sick one to post so early today!

Not even this lot would change it this quickly. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I saw this on the news this morning. An HMRC spokes person said, 'we saw this mentioned on an internet forum, and are now seriously looking into it'. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Axshully, you raggies are on to a good thing. At least at MYC, where I put our raggie bunch on to a local garage that sells red at about 75ppl for farmers. Coz they don't need to take on so much fuel, they can just turn up at said garage with two decent sized Jerries and the job's sorted. No split and no declaration.

Nah i would anchor for a week rather than accept a tow from a stinky

[/ QUOTE ] Interesting. What kind of anchor would you consider best suited to this task? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

CQR on the East Coast /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

You know we are all too courteous to leave you there, in the middle of the big bad sea, all on your little lonesome, and would insist (anchor or no anchor) that you breathe in and enjoy our wholesome fumes while offering the hand of friendship (in this case, a tow rope!). /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Brave raggie to drop the hook off Gib - Europa Point perhaps? Where even this boat was not big enough to avoid collision! Where stand-on vessel simply means to hop onto the deck! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
