Much prepacked pasta like that is stored in an inert environment, such as nitrogen. So keeps between 2 weeks and a year depending on method. When buying stores for boat or van I check the best before by more assiduously than if just for supper
 
I bought (online) ten packs of dried Barilla four-cheese tortellini late last year. I have happy memories of buying them at a French supermarket and eating them from the packet, driving home.

Unfortunately the expiry date (which I tend to treat as pretty flexible for dried foods) is far longer than the product deserved...

...I opened a packet over the weekend and there was no hint of cheese flavour remaining. Now I have nine packs that will need large quantities of pesto and cheddar added to make it palatable. But I'll make it work.
