Recommendations for tender outboard

Good to know, it is definitely moving up our list, thanks ?
... and (as others have already written here), I thoroughly recommend getting in touch with Ian (@https://nestawayboats.com/) - who also posts on here. He has given me some very good advice, is well informed and very responsive.

Philip, I have acquired a new Suzuki 2.5 with my boat. I haven't used it yet. Can you elaborate on the 'kick back' and what happens that can injure you.
Thanks
Just bought one it kicks back too, but I find if i pull it so the cylinder is near TDC and pull it doesnt happen

To start it you need to pull gently until it is just past the top of the compression stroke. Then give it a long hard pull. Pull all the way with the longest pull you can manage. Get it wrong it will fire backwards and damage your shoulder.
unless you are married to a Eastern European Shot Putter your wife will not be able to start it.
Horrible noisy things. The worst outboard ever. Even a seagull is better.
