I have looked online and been a little overwhelmed by suppliers, but not for small quantities.

Anyone know where I can get a small peice of sheet of marine grade (316?) stainless to make a mast sleeve?

Guess I'm after 2-3mm thick. Size about 35cm x 20cm (it's a small mizzen mast).

Thanks

I have bought several times from Ebay traders and had good service. Metals4U were very helpful in supplying exactly what I wanted, which involved them doing some digging around in their warehouse.

You will have best results from 316. 304 is supposedly OK for above-water use but it is likely to suffer pitting to a greater extent.

I also bought a minute quantity of SS on eBay. IIRC it was about 100x100x2. Dirt cheap and sent by post. There seemed to be a huge choice of random materials on there, so I'm sure you could find what you want.
