I want to get a really small solid fuel stove and I am looking at the Faversham, Pipsqueak and Hotpot. If any of you have experience of any of these please give me your views, alternatively if you know of any similarly sized stoves (150-200mm wide) please let me know.
thanks in advance

Pascall Atkey's Pansy charcoal heater is quite small.

Edit: sorry didn't realise you're looking for a stove. Have you looked at "Sardine" and "Little Cod"? No personal experience though

I've had a Faversham for the last 13 years and am pleased with it. I burn almost anything in it; household coal gives that authentic smell and plenty smoke from the flue, smokeless briquettes are better, but small anthracite seems to burn best.
I modified the door to have a glass window to be able to see the glow and fitted a stainless cowl from a narrowboat chandlers.
I had to replace the firebricks and grate after eight years but no other problems, apart from the dust, that is!
Unbeatable on a winter's night, and keeps the boat dry too.

I have had a davey hotpot on current and previous livaboards (28' and 36') and cannot fault them. Huge dry heat output stay hot overnight, no problems with flue blockage. More work than you would think fitting but well worth it. (actually installed it on Christmas eve while it was snowing )There are some pictures of it installed on current boat in my album.

Having asked around the size of the flue is critical in cabin heaters, if you get 1" they can block easily, if you use cheap fuel. Also having top of the line coal makes huge difference (i use homefire which burns slowly and makes very little ash which can choke up air intake)

If you need any pointers or advice let me know.
