Recommendations for outboard lock brands?

What's regarded as the best quality? I think the last thread about this is a year old.

I bought one of the sliding metal u-section devices at a mail order chandlery. Italian made I think. Came with brass lock. Different sizes are available but mine was the smallest for a Suzuki 2.5. It works well and doesn't get in the way. The Suzuki clamps didn't fit as they are a bit small and rubber washers which could be forced off but I easily modded them with a stainless penny washer.

I think that any outboard lock is a deterrent rather than a theft prevention measure. I've got a motorbike chain lock which is wrapped around the bracket.
