Recommendations for motor sailer

Beneteau did a motor sailor 50/50 as they call it in France around that size. Sailed better than many motor sailors.

I met a couple who circumnavigated on theirs.

Think it is called an Eclipse but not sure.

Eclipse is Moody; Bénéteau was Evasion 29/34/37 and some smaller ones. They also did the Idylle series 10m50, 13m50 and 15m50 with hulls by Frers and spacious interiors. Jouët did a good 10m40 but a super 12m80. Jeanneau did l'Espace 10m, 11m.

Beneteau Idylle's did not have covered (doghouse) or inside steering positions - they were the cruising versions of the mark before the Oceanis came out. They did have a low fixed screen though like a Rassy iirc.

Colvic Watsons can be a handfull under full sail.
Don't agree with that bit. We trash other yachts when its f6 plus.

Agree, and last week we spooked a lovely gaffer as we caught him in a F3 on a broad reach, which I thought they were supposed to be good at
