Recommendations for a boatyard

My steel yacht needs to be hauled out to have the hull stripped back to metal to deal with some rust spots, anti-fouling applied, etc. I would like a good yard to do the work, hopefully who are not horrendously expensive (always the optimist!). The boat is in Milford Marina and I usually use Windjammer for work, with whom I am happy, but their hoist does not have the capacity (the boat weighs about 25 ton). I would be grateful for recommendations for a suitable yard. Dale Sailing at Neyland is the obvious choice in the area, but a few years ago they came in for some criticism in this forum. I would be grateful for comments from anyone with recent experience, or other suggestions.
Thanks.

As you've had no replies I thought I'd respond by asking whether you've spoken to David Coates or Andrew McCloud at Windjammer? I'd have expected Andy to have some suggestions.

Alternatively, have you spoken to "Pembrokeshire Marine Group"? Presumably you've had their recent flyer, extolling their virtues. Do they have a larger lift-out facility at Swansea?

Could the job be done between tides at, say, Rudders Boatyard? If the work is not too extensive that might be an option.

Swansea Marina lift is limited to 20 tons.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will chat with the chaps at Windjammer.

I think that the work is too major to do between tides, unfortunately.

Thanks also to Morpheous for suggesting Portishead, but I wanted to head West. I am thinking of moving Strumpet to Falmouth later in the year, so another option is to look for a yard there to do the work. I know that it is not strictly Bristol Channel business, but does anyone have experience of boatyards around there?

Thanks

Bruce

There was a steel trawler on the hoist there recently that had to be over 50 ton.Would be a good place to work on a steel boat.
