Looking for any recommendations based on your own experience - I really need someone who can take over the care of the boat and get it sold.

Have you spoken to Tingdene? They have brokers at Upton on Severn and Portishead.

I am on Upton - Tingdene no longer have an operational service due to staff leaving and they are/were pretty poor anyway.
Not sure about Portishead
