Symblast did mine last year, excellent job. No mess left anywhere, no pin holes left.

I had my boat lifted at RK marine and symblast were the only company allowed to work on there premises that carry out this kind of work.

Here is a link to a report after our Coppercoat treatment a couple of years ago.

We were going to get Ellesar to do the job but the boat is in Spain and it didn't make sense getting him to travel that far.
The local guy was great anyway.

BTW this slurry process is way gentler than sand blasting - I know of several cases where I believe that sand blasting has been too aggressive.
IMHO you are correct to go for slurry blasting.
Coppercoat after as well? - thats what we did.
Ellesar does a good job with Coppercoat as well.
The link above describes the whole process that we went through.

Arc did mine, very pleased, good attention to detail and we gained two knots from I guess the removal of all the layers of antifoul and a nice smooth finish to go with it. For me the big reason is much better economy from very little drag, we do a lot of hours / miles so I reckon it will pay for itself in a short time.

Ours was done by Symblast last month, unfortunately there is a small amount of remedial work to be done where a few pinholes were exposed, but I'm not blaming them, just one of those things. Apart from Whitelighters comments I've heard nothing but praise for Symblast, and they are the only firm allowed into Darthaven to do this work also.
