My 25 year old 280 outdrives were in desperate need of a serious fettling job and after 6 years of farting about only doing the neccesary to stop oil getting out and water in had the drive sorted by IVSS in Folkestone.They are not far away from another well known outdrive fixer but do not charge VAT which in my case would have been £150.00.
Complete strip down all external stuff shot blasted and recoated with what appears to be twin pack and whatever needs replacing internally sorted.In my case the top bearings had been whinging for years and turning up the radio was losing its appeal.
Wayne the main fixer will also make you a cup on tea while he counts you cash.
My nice leg before it got a coat of A/F goo.

And the other one which will get a seeing to next year
All legs come ready to fit with oil and anode.All sorts of other stuff being sorted when I visited inc Mercuiser and he will sort OMC.His website is not active yet but you can ring him on 07890659931 or 01303 870010.
