I have a Makita submersible pump lying around. Usefull for emptying cargo room faster, or as emergency bilge pump. Problem is the hose I bought. Under no circumstance am I able to lay the flat hose out whitout any kinks or bends. Is there some hose tyope out there that will compress, but is stiff enough with pressure in it to actualy do its job when pumping? :)

I have a Karcher SP3 and a 50 ft webbing covered hose which does not kink. I think a new hose cost around £50.
I think that webbing makes all the difference. It is weaved, and not steel spiral yess? That would make it more like a fire hose right?

Fire brigades use flat hose. If the head delivered by the pump is sufficient it will open the hose and take out any kinks very readily. Have you tried it?
I have tried this blue hose yess. Takes one man to make it work. So pump is not strong enough to straighten it properly. Maybe I should order some fire hose. Should be durable as well :)
