Recommend me a waterproof iPad case...

zip lock freezer bag is all you need.

Agree if water, dust, dirt resistance is all you need.

Op check out iDry cases. Pretty good mechanical protection as well. Not overly expensive.

I would regard cases which allow cable access as water resistant only. One I bought I sent back as the bungs to use if the cables weren't inserted were so poor.

Bringing an old thread back to life but I was wondering if there was anything new in the waterproof ipad case market.

I want something completely waterproof, will protect from the odd knock and the ability to charge without having to remove the ipad from the case.

Options appear to be

LifeEdge waterproof case

LifeProof Fre or Nuud cases

Any thoughts or other recommendations?

The Lifeproof is very good. Sailed 700 odd miles last November in wind, sun and rain with my iPad (running Navionics) on the cockpit table with no problems other than having to be a bit careful when charging from a lighter socket. If there's one that would allow waterproof charging, that would be even better but failing that, the Lifeproof is the dog's.
