Sorry to offer negative comment on your responses but don't purchase anything until you do some more homework. The first item you require is the Lewmar rotary drive - this is a bespoke unit for the bavaria - cost Approx £1500. Don't have the pt no to hand but can pm you. You already have a sprocket on your pedestal for the 5/8" chain drive. You also have the mounting base already existing on your Lewmar pedestal (4 studs - Covered with plastic caps).
By the way the 37 dosn't have quadrant steering.
Also you will waste you money if you attempt any other system (I have the T shirt)
After that if you go for Raymarine you need the S2 computer set up - not S1.
