Having lurked for some time I have been more than impressed by the quality and quantity of first rate advice to be found here.
So, time for a first post, be gentle!

We are bringing a 40 foot motor yacht to the Thames. Basing in a West London marina, probably Penton Hook.
Boat will need requisite modifications so as to gain Boat Safety Scheme certification (gas lines, black water tank etc).
Will have the work required specified by a qualified examiner.
Then, I will need a firm to do that work... Any recommendations?

thanks for your time,
LJK

I can certainly recommend a surveyor for the safety certificate and if my experience with him is typical, he will talk you through several solutions to a problem and leave choices to you rather than just saying, that's what needs done get on with it. However, it may be more useful if you can put a but more detail about your boat. More info means those on here can give you specific recommendations for who does what work well.
Welcome by the way.

Please give me a call when you arrive, I can arrange the BSS through a tame surveyor and keeping him in the conversation, talk through your options when we know the scope of work.
There is no obligation and if I cannot do the work, I will know someone who can.
