Recommend a good film just out:

I can recommend the latest 'Captain Phillips' movie that came out last week. Based on a true story some Somali pirates board a massive ship and take control. There is plenty of amazing boat related footage, navy ribs, outboard powered skiffs, ships lifeboat footage etc. The ship is one of the Maersk ships that we see coming into the Solent often. Tom Hanks does some of his best acting. Worth watching on the big screen while it is out,

Seen it and thought it was excellent, went with son who is pretty derisory of anything dad suggests and he thought it was gripping as well.

There's plenty of artistic licence used according to some of the crew who were there, but hey, it's entertainment, not a documentary, and it looks a good film.

Brilliant film - special for us as No 2 daughter worked on this film. She was in Malta for two months doing the costumes.
