What, From where? I’m a Bahco scraper convert for antifoul removal, and washboard varnish. Fantastic tool. Most chemicals are snake oil.

I used Polycell stripping my floorboards as well as heat and of course a Bahco scraper. like many products strippers have become less effective as dodgy chemicals have been withdrawn and anyway performance depends on the formulation of the paint you are removing. so experimentation is the order of the day.IMG_20230214_151911.jpg

This is before and after using a mixture of heat gun, chemical, bleach and a lot of scraping plus final sanding.

I used to use Nitromors but now my boat is in France I use a French product that seems to work as well.

Tip: keep an eye on Aldi, they sometimes have Nitromors on offer. They did a few weeks ago.
